i saw a small present this morning on my desk.. and only figured out mins later that the handwriting on the card looked suspiciously like my next-door colleague's.. haha.. and i turned around to find him smiling at me.. got many other bday greetings from other colleagues/friends and was pleasantly surprised.. =)
chelle was so kind to hand-deliver to me her handmade 'ham ham' cookies to my sch this afternoon.. =) thanks! it was yummy~
i was also surprised my ex-stu remembered my bday! i can still rem the time when they sang a bday song in class last yr.. =P
at this juncture, i can't help but look back into my diary at what happened last yr on this day.. "the mussels were not too fresh (?!), chicken was overdone, otah was too "krispsy", and table too small".. it was such a classic, and a pleasant memory.. =)
