just watched a nice heartwarming japanese movie about a shiba dog which saved a little girl & her grandfather during an earthquake in Yamakoshi Village, Japan. this 2007 movie was based on a true story.
it's another one of those 'Helen the baby fox'-type of movies which made me cry.. what struck me most was the scene where Mari looked terribly despondent after it could not find its owner and fell into a river...
