Are v-days supposed to be filled with flowers, dinners and chocolates? 1) have always dreamed of a romantic dinner by the beach (sounds so cliche and dreamy -like the article featured in the straits times - but practically any nice meal will suffice actually) 2) have yet to receive a single stalk of my fav flowers, though i've had roses and gerberras etc!

i found out that my colleagues did not particularly celebrate this day (no flowers, no expensive dinners)... and so did many other singaporeans. this is probably because of the recession? or because it's their nth v-day anyway... =P
